Here's what to expect:
1) Consultation - Send me your CV and deposit and I will look through to identify bits that are missing, what might need improving, updating or changing. We then have a Zoom call (max. 30 minutes) to discuss any issues and look at styles you like.
2) I get to work on the agreed brief. I use Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop and web-based software to create a visually exciting CV that is unique to you! This will take no longer than one week depending on my other commitments. I will be in contact throughout the process to ask further questions to clarify anything we've missed.
3) I will email you a PDF draft of your new CV for you to have a look at. Take your time to have a good look through, so you are completely happy with the overall look, the accuracy of the information and how it is presented. Make sure you note down everything that you see.
4) I will make improvements and email you a final draft. Last chance for final tweaks!
5) There you have it. Your new and improved CV ready to dazzle future employers!
There are a couple of things to bear in mind:
- I have great design experience and a strong eye for detail and accuracy. I create successful and high quality CV and job applications of my own AND I have years of experience guiding students through job/uni/apprenticeship applications through my previous role as a sixth form tutor. However, I am offering a DESIGN service not a WRITING service. I can help with a few written elements, but I am in no way a career or recruitment specialist.
- The total cost of this service is £150.00 I charge a £35 non-refundable consultation fee. The remaining fee of £115 is required before work starts. This is due to the time and attention to detail required for completing the work. As our careers, goals and life situations change, so will our CVs. I would be delighted to continue to make amendments to your CV in the future for a smaller fee. Further details of these are outlined within our contract agreement.
- The success of your applications are ultimately down to you. I will do everything I can to present your information in a visually exciting, aesthetically dynamic and high quality way, but I cannot guarantee success in your applications.
