This watercolour and ink street scene was created for my sister, Lauren and her husband Josh's wedding present. This was painted from a photograph taken in Vietnam on the couple's round-the-world trip. I loved the eeriness of the scene and how normal it seemed for a massive train to be slowly creeping through quiet streets. It reminds me of the scenes from Studio Ghibli animations. I also loved the divide between the luscious, organic, potted plants and the industrial, wires and built up buildings.
